Dr.Luke Nkinsi represents the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation on the ACHAP Board of Directors as Chairman. He has spent the last twenty-two years working in a variety of capacities in developing countries as leader in the public health field. Dr. Nkinsi received his medical doctor degree from the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and his masters in public health (Tropical Medicine, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics) from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. While his professional assignments have varied, he has remained professionally active in primary health care, infectious diseases, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, and rural water supply and sanitation.More... |

Carmine J. Bozzi is the Deputy Director of the HIV, TB and Reproductive Health, Global Health Program, at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In this capacity he shares with the Director responsibility for research, country programs and policies related to HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis and reproductive health programs. Ric Marlink , MD, is a medical oncologist and a Professor of the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health. He also serves as Scientific Director of Care and Treatment of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. In this capacity, he helps direct care and treatment programs and targeted evaluation in eight countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and PMTCT expanded efforts in 19 countries and 600 sites in the developing world. Dr.Jeffrey L. Sturchio is Vice President, External Affairs,Human Health Intercontinental at Merck & Co., Inc., in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. He is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of a range of health policy and communications initiatives for the region. He has been centrally involved in Merck’s participation in the UN/Industry Accelerating Access Initiative to help improve HIV/AIDS care and treatment in the developing world. Mr David Greeley is Senior Director, Global HIV/AIDS Programs, Office of Corporate Responsibility, for Merck & Co., Inc. In his previous position as Senior Director, Public Affairs and Policy for Merck's Latin America Division, Mr. Greeley was responsible for overseeing the public affairs and policy function for Merck in Latin America and the Caribbean. This included policy and external affairs; corporate social responsibility and corporate reputation management; product and disease management communications; HIV/AIDS (and other product) access initiatives; and employee communications.
